Unit 2

In unit 2 we were ask to put on a show or 2.1 our task was so research about different kind of shows and also about how these shows ben set up for the events. I researched about London fashion week I also found out that for these kind of a shows people spend millions toget ad mae everthing perfect for the night ... tere are many people setting up different thing e.g set up te stage, get models who wills show the clothes, shoes , diferent kind of accesories, also people for lighting, for the music,print out all the good designed tickets, make promotional materials, advertise the event 1 mounth before it will happen etc. this learning objective was individual.

We than got in to groups I was with Vanessa Andreea and Anna in 1 group . we look at our 2.1 individual work and we decided what kind of a show we could put on that all of us will enjoy for 2.2 we came up with te idea of putting on a dance show because there where only 4 of us there was too much to do for a bigger show.
We al decided that me and vanessa will dance and anna will help n te promotional materials ad as becase we need it to d a varial marketing video she was charge of make the video, andreeas resposibility was tha al the lights are working when te sow is on se als helped anna with her job. Me and Vanessa were rehearsing all the time wen we met up first we were looking at different types of dance moves from youtube to gtet some ideas for our own show because we didnt want it to be boring dancers doing the same thing so as we came up with our show name "The World Lives In London". ME and Vanessa was looking for 6 different kind of dance moves and we also knew that we need a music for this . We decided to remix our own music we got help from Mr. Mills and he showed us ho to use Garageband and with this program we made our song for our show.

In 2.3 we were still rehearsing and Andreea was still learning how to use the light but we also started to learn how to do our promotianal materials and viral marketing, In the lesson with Miss Connel we looked at some viral videos and some nice promotinal materials for events. Than we were asked to get some promotinal event and look for some viral videos. This helped us understand how important it is to have it if we want to get a good result of people turning up to that show. Than we started to make our flyers for our show that we handed out 1 week before our show to let me people make free time to come and enjoy it. We also went central to took videos of people talking in different languages we had spanish, pakistani, romanian, portugees,hungarian, french and some other, than Anna and Andreea edited this video in Imovie which is an other skills that we have now.. How to use it.
In 2.4 we need it to present our Show we had a practice run wich went quate well we have not finished with the dance moves and we didnt had our drees on us that we will perform in but it was nice to had that practice run . Than the day came we had 6 different country dance movements that we perform. first we had Hip Hop which doesnt really goes to a country but everyone knows that type of dance than we had African, Jamacian, Arabic, Irish, Brazilian, we all enjoy this 5 minutes and it turned out that our audience enjoyed it too. We were all scared to performed it but it went well. through this process we had 1-2 fights with the gurls we said staffs we didnt ment and also we nearly broke our group up because of littel missunderstanding but I learnt from my mistakes and I know I will never do them again and if maybe I do I will know how to solve these problems.

Last task 2.5 Evaulation of our show and also we needed to asked our audience, get feedback about if they liked our show, which part was the best, how did they will while watching, was the lighting match our dance types etc.
And with this we finished our Unit 2 ........
